Welcome to JetAlt (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at jetalt.com and all its calculators, guides, and related content (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

Acceptance and Changes

Using JetAlt means you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. We may update the Terms as the site changes; continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised version.

Educational Estimates, Not Certified Data

This is the most important term on the page. Every calculator on JetAlt produces an educational estimatebuilt from the numbers you enter and representative, widely-cited industry values — emission factors, fuel densities, typical burn rates, specific-energy figures, and the like. The results are simplified models to build intuition. They are not certified emissions accounting, fuel-planning or performance data for a specific aircraft, a lifecycle assessment for a specific fuel batch, or engineering, financial, or regulatory advice. Real-world figures depend on the specific aircraft, engine, fuel, operation, and conditions, and on official certified sources.

• Not rely on results for operational, safety, regulatory, or investment decisions without independent, certified verification.
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site or scrape it with automated systems.
• Respect intellectual-property rights and not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every calculation is error-free or fits your purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JetAlt and its suppliers are not liable for any damages — including lost data, or costs arising from operational, commercial, or financial decisions — resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Intellectual Property

The site’s text, graphics, logos, tools, and code are owned by JetAlt or its suppliers and protected by copyright, except third-party museum and reference material drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, which remains under its own licences. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or strip notices from the site’s materials.

Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service links to external sites and shows third-party advertising (including Google AdSense). We do not control or endorse third-party content, and using any linked site is at your own risk.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for any dispute arising from them.
